- Researching and creating digital content and visual materials, namely images, videos, photos, posters and graphs for the Intersexualities online platforms;
- Developing promotional plans in social networks such as Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
- Photographing and video recording outreach activities that might be organized.

Presently research will focus on Pioneering Women on two main domains: i) Global Health; and ii) Visual Arts and Performing Arts.

The group welcomes contributions from specialists in Literature, Visual Arts, Cultural Studies, Gender, Feminist and Queer Studies, History of Medicine, Health Sciences, Media and Communication, Digital Humanities, Database and Network Design and Administration, and other related areas, who, among other tasks, may help with the research for the database She Thought It.

An international and multidisciplinary work environment will be offered, as well as the unique opportunity to participate in activities that will grow in direct proportion to their work. Trainees are expected to have a very good command of English and are required to bring a personal computer with all the software required for the task presented.
Desired skills: autonomy of work; capacity to deal with interdisciplinary areas; flexibility to adapt to different work activities; ability to work in an international environment; willingness to contribute to the success of the research group.

Techniques used during the internship:

The INTERSEXUALITIES group has been developing a critical reflection on politics and power relations from the perspectives provided by contemporary theories on GENDER, SEX AND SEXUALITIES. Favouring an intersectional approach of gender crossed with race, sexualities, class or nation, the group uses critical tools from Feminist Studies, Gender Studies, Queer Studies, Queer Theory, Posthuman Studies, Utopian Studies, Food Studies, and Age Studies, in articulation with other areas of knowledge. The overall goal is to promote a discussion around POLITICS OF INCLUSION and the idea of COMMUNITIES (social, national, literary and scientific).
